Default Suns fan arrested after yelling at team owner Robert Sarver during game, confronting Phoenix officer

PHOENIX — A Phoenix Suns fan is facing charges after cursing at team owner Robert Sarver during a game and later confronting an officer as he was removed from the arena.

    ********************

After Sarver had sat down in his personal seats, the 18-year-old and his friends began yelling obscenities, and also reportedly called Sarver "the worst owner in the league."

    ********************

While being escorted out of the building by Phoenix police, Whitely allegedly chest-bumped an officer, trying to push him backward.

He has been charged with aggravated assault and criminal trespassing.

Every Suns' fan on FB fully agrees with this guys assessment of Sarver (who also owns the D-Backs), many of them have gotten a bit carried away by calling him a hero who deserves a medal. Several have even offered to pay his legal fees while only a few have pointed out that he did cross the line pushing the officer.

18 year old thinks he's a badass, curses out the team owner, and ignores the directives of security to stop?

I have a limited amount of sympathy available for stupid people and I am not going to waste it on this dumbass.

What happened to "He paid for his ticket, he can say what he wants"?

Actually, people need more civility at sporting events. Who would take a seven-year-old son or daughter to a sporting event with all the profanity that is hurled in the stands?
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

You think that's bad, what about how some parents behave while watching their 7 year-old sons and daughters play.
