Dayo Odeyingbo would be a 1st, 2nd or 3rd round pick if he doesn’t tear Achilles in January, this is the buy low of my dreams.
Pronounced Oh dang bo, which is nice.

https://www.nbcsports.com/edge/footb...310/trey-lance ... I simulated this the best I could, getting 1/2/3/3 round picks.
19: R1 P19 EDGE Jayson Oweh - Penn State. Dude is a flatout stud, DeMarcus Ware type prospect. 6-5/260, with 34 3/4” arms and 4.36 speed, 40” vert and 6.9 3-cone). Perfect successor for Von as he needs time and developing under the creator of the Pass Rush Summit. Shaq Barret credits Von in part for his development, imagine what this dude could become.
29: R1 P29 OT Christian Darrisaw - Virginia Tech. Garett Bolles clone, long arms and torso with great footwork and a bit of nasty attitude. Immediate starter at RT and eventual starter at LT.
40: R2 P8 LB Jamin Davis - Kentucky. Steal if he’s still there at 40 (he won’t be)
71: R3 P7 S Andre Cisco - Syracuse. Future replacement for A-Jack, true ballhawk with piss poor discipline that needs to be ironed out. Goes much higher if he’s not coming off injury.
74: R3 P10 QB Davis Mills - Stanford. Needs to be done and if any QB should be taken this high it’s Mills or Newman. Mills allegedly ran 4.58 in rain on Pro Day but legitimately threw the ball well in bad weather conditions. He’s no Jaime Newman though.
82: R3 P18 EDGE Dayo Odeyingbo - Vanderbilt. Out for th ‘21 season after tearing Achilles in January, he’s worth the investment. Could play either Edge for Broncos but it sounds like he’d be best with hand in dirt full time, kicking inside on passing downs. 6-5/275, 4.75 with 36” arms)
122: R4 P17 DL Bobby Brown III - Texas A&M. (At just 20 years old he’s got Akiem Hicks potential, imo, future NT at the very least. 6-4/315, 4.95 with 35” arms and 84” span)
139: R4 P34 CB Shaun Wade - Ohio State. (No way he lasts to 4th round, we already know he excels in the slot NB role, everything else is there)
152: R5 P8 OT Josh Ball - Marshall. (Here’s your swing T/developmental starter, 6-7/310 with 35” arm and 82” wing span. Got kicked out of Florida St)
191: R6 P7 EDGE Joshua Kaindoh - Florida State. (Freak athlete, more in the mold of Chubb than Von)
208: R6 P24 RB Chris Evans - Michigan. (Has everything you look for in an NFL starting RB, with very low mileage. Missed time due to suspension.)
237: R7 P9 WR T.J. Vasher - Texas Tech. (Horrible character, lazy and entitled ... but, 6-6/200, 4.45 with 36” arms and AJ Green body control. Buy low)

I wish more pundits would have pessimistic projections.
"Athletic dude who is overdrafted at this spot. Will likely wash out after three years despite the first round pedigree. If all the stars were to align, he could be a poor-mans Demarcus Ware."
But with every pick.

- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
