Flipping Fields is just good roster management, getting a 1st round pick might be difficult. Fields is still underdeveloped and only offers the coveted cheap rookie contract dynamic for two more seasons. If he’s traded he’ll be digesting the 3rd NFL system of his career, all this makes him less valuable to a new team.

I don't think their big boards are at all accurate yet, but I enjoy playing around with fanspeak mocks this time of year. Seems like every one I run, I end up choosing between Jeanty and Kenneth Grant in the first, with Warren also being available more often than not. I wanted to mess around and take a different dude first to see how it played out. I keep just missing Mason Graham there (never gonna happen), and missed Mason Taylor by two picks in the third.

This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

I've never seen McMillan drop to 20, had to take him just to see how the rest of it would play out.

Gotta admit, I'm pretty curious about Harmon. On paper, he profiles like that classic undersized penetrating three-tech, so I'm not sure where or how he would fit into our base defense. However, I heard one scout from the Senior Bowl say that Harmon was the most disruptive player he'd seen there since Aaron Donald. Lofty praise, indeed. You know a site that let's you simulate free agency? These draft sims are fun to play with, but they're super incomplete without that component.
