Who gives a **** that he didn’t perform all that well last season, he beat Herbert in style, he whipped teddy in style. The fact that you come back with a lie saying he showed ZERO improvement this pre season and in practice just says your extremely bias against Lock and i don’t even understand why your so invested in bashing a back up quarterback on the broncos.
Lock came back very improved and under any other circumstances other than having a trash coaching staff Lock would be the starter. Just because you repeat the same lies over and over doesn’t mean it’ll turn into truth king! Lock not seeing the whole field was improved and only time and reps THIS SEASON woulda showed it but a dumb ass coaching staff and fans thought going with teddy sorry ass was going to allow the broncos to win game’s and that hasn’t happened! So going with the veteran was the wrong call!
I don’t even now how this is even an argument anymore now that teddy has failed! It’s like all you people who thought it was best to go with teddy have jack shit to hold onto so you talk about what Lock was LAST YEAR and that’s just lame as hell when the guy put in the ******* work and should be having the chance to put it on the field right now.
Pro Football Network. Multiple trades down from late teens.
All this assumes the Broncos extend Bedweter and retain coaching staff, and that they realize that they simply can’t count on Bolles and Chubb. I think it’s worthwhile to give MGIII another contract similar to his last. Would also try to retain Patrick, otherwise I’d sign DJ Chark to a “Prove It” deal. CB has clearly become an issue but this is about what I would do in the draft and not what we all know Paton will do.
DEN
23. Nicholas Petit-Frere
OT Ohio State (Dude can play RT, well, if Bolles gets/keeps his shit together. Heir apparent at LT regardless.)
DEN
46. Will Levis
QB Kentucky (I think I’m in love. It’s worth noting that Levis’ Kentucky OC is from the Sean McVey coaching tree, fwiw, perhaps he’s being taught more advanced concepts. One would assume.)
DEN
53. Adam Anderson
EDGE Georgia (Leonard Floyd with legit Von Miller burst and bend. Pass rush specialist if he can’t hold weight on.)
DEN
62. Darian Kinnard
OT Kentucky (Instant starter and certified beast at RG.)
DEN
92. David Ojabo
EDGE Michigan (Future starter at OLB.)
DEN
109. Isaiah Thomas
EDGE Oklahoma (Steal here with bitchin Athletic talent.)
DEN
117. Henry To'o To'o
LB Alabama (Again, major steal in the 4th, nice fit with Browning. Great leader.)
DEN
156. Wanya Morris
OT Oklahoma (This assumes he declares for draft, I’m dubious. Future starter at LG or RT, swing T at least.)
DEN
158. Damone Clark
LB LSU (He’s rising boards and it’s doubtful he’s around later than the 3rd. Shades of Browning.)
DEN
164. Joey Porter Jr.
CB Penn State (Will not even declare if he’s given a 5th round grade, future 1st round pick.)
DEN
202. Xavier Thomas
EDGE Clemson (Sleeper Edge, I think he blossoms at OLB, if given the chance. Practice squad candidate.)
DEN
218. Kuony Deng
LB California (Literally the same as Xavier Thomas, could play ILB too. Practice squad candidate.)
DEN
233. Palaie Gaoteote IV
LB USC (Shot in the dark, surprised to see his name in mock draft. Transferred to OSU, I believe, from USC. Not sure about his availability but was a Top 20 recruit.)
DEN
237. Cam'Ron Harris
RB Miami-Fl (Taking a flier on a talented RB that may not be fully recovered from ACL injury by draft time.)
“At 6’6″ and 250 pounds, Kuony Deng is not your average linebacker. He’s also not had your average football journey. Deng spent the 2017 season at the Virginia Military Institute before heading to Independence Community College — the one featured on “Last Chance U.”
Having impressed as a sophomore, he earned a four-star JUCO ranking and transferred to Cal. There, he’s accumulated 152 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles in just two years.
Cal has done him a disservice, however, by using him predominantly as an inside linebacker. Yes, it’s allowed him to display the ability to come down and make plays in the box. Yes, it’s allowed him to show off his length in pass coverage. But Deng truly excels off the edge as a pass rusher and can utilize his athleticism and size to be a dominant force there.
Deng is expected to make a position change this season. He’ll emerge as one of the top outside linebackers in this 2022 NFL Draft class when he does.”—Pro Football Network
