Your desire for the position is legit, your preference for which FA tackles to get, I do not agree on, but we still cool I think....right??? lol

If its a FA maybe Jason peters and only because he will cost less per the 1 or 2 years we sign him, we can do a contract to cut easily and not be tied up long term....Costanzo is good enough to want a 4 year plus contract and as the top LT FA dude is going to get paid more than we should be willing, especially When you factor that in with our CB situation, Safety, and DL situation, Plus the fact we have no center option right now unless we pay bank for McGovern.....I'm worried about a big contract for a guy like Costanzo in the big picture.

For me the best option is to double dip in this draft in a class that is the strongest its been in a decade. I would take a OT in rd 1 or 2 and then a OT in rd 3-5.....the cost is cheaper. The talent is there and Munchak is our wildcard without tying our hands financially.....we have tried to buy a OL for long enough. Draft and develop the OL that's what we have been missing.....we have been trying to buy a OL for far to long and at the tackle position especially....

If we’re betting on Munchak then La’Raven Clark is my FA choice, they don’t get more talented than Clark ... he’s got Clady ability.

The expert mocks are getting more and more depressing... looks like the top half of the draft is going to be OT heavy.

And let’s be real, those mocks are pretty ******* accurate.

    Mine especially.....

Best Mock guy to follow is Charlie Campbell from walterfootball.com he has the highest success rate at guessing picks in rd 1 for the last like 4 or 5 years.....better then about 30 of the top so called Mock guys.....his intel from sources starts getting really good come combine time.

My fears are really based on observing the dearth of o line talent in the nfl. It’s like 90% of the league’s greatest need and there is a rarity of competent left tackles for sure

I expect 3 of the OT's to be gone before the Jets pick at 12. If the jets go OT thats 4. Hopefully they like the value of a CB at 12 more then a slight reach for OT at 12. That could help us land a guy like wirfs at 15 or Jackson if we trade back to about 20. Jones would also be in play in the 20's. If we can't get wirfs then Jones and Jackson need to be considered, and to obtain them we should trade back about 5-7 spots and grab a extra pick out the deal as well.

I think Jaded is right about Elway and Bolles. I'm starting to think that he is pretty pissed at the OT situation and wants to address it which is why he is holding off on the option to pick up in May on Bolles till he sees what he can obtain in the draft and FA, maybe he surprises us in FA or with a trade but more then likely we are going to be looking at OT and center in this draft heavily.

The NFL needs tackles for sure, luckily for us there are about 8-9 players that look like they can be develop into or start at OT long term, hasn't been a class this strong in many years.....If we dont come away with at least one of them we are still floundering as a franchise and will never fix the OL with Elway in charge....

To me we need one of the following players for OT by round 4 this draft at a minimum. I would count out Thomas, Becton and Willis unless we trade up....and the jets may take Wirfs at 12 if they like him more then a CB

Thomas- Top 5 (most Likely NY or Was)
Becton- Top 10 (Carolina, Jacksonville, Cleveland, Jets)
Willis- Top 12(Carolina, Jacksonville, Cleveland, Jets)
Wirfs- Top 15 (Jets, Tampa, Denver)
    Jackson- Top 20
    Jones- Rd 1
    Hunt- Rd 2
    Niang- Rd 2
    Peart- Rd 3-4
    Driscoll- Rd 3-4

We also need to look at Biadasz late rd 1 or rd 2 and Hennessy at the Center position If we don't re-sign McGovern

agreed but i think we only have a shot at wirfs unless we trade up. I feel like he is going to go to the jets at 12 though. I can't see them thinking Henderson at CB is a better idea then protecting Darnold.....
