I want barno on this team, not only did he blow up the combine, But his tape last year apparently has advanced scouts salivating as they think he is going to be a steal I take him in rd 3 and don't hesitate. if we get him in rd 4 OMG.....

You know this means he’ll be out of reach, we have great taste.

I just did through 5 rounds. PFT has some... interesting player rankings. Don't think this is gonna be one of my stronger years for player evaluation, since I didn't watch enough football, but that won't stop me from having opinions. So much of what we need on defense depends on what Evero needs that Fangio didn't, so I guess I'm hedging my bets (while also takin a flier in the 5th).
Extremely curious to see how they plan to make Denver better, now that so many important pieces are in place.

My novels Mason's Order and its sequel Mason's Pledge are now available at Amazon in both paperback and kindle versions.
Love Tyler Smith, I like Hayes too but if you believe the current narrative about the “new scheme” these two don’t fit the system well enough, apparently we’re supposed to be looking for Ty Sambrailo and Dan Neil again.

I'll believe it when I see it. Like at some point you have to take the good player and not the scheme fit. Having an inflexible scheme that requires perfect players you don't already have is how we get into these messes.

If Barno is there, they absolutely better take him. For Brandon Smith... I have him in the "smart as a box of wet hair" category, but again I didn't see too much of him. Just looks like a guy who relies on athleticism and doesn't actually recognize shit as it's happening. In the 4th though he's probably very good value. Chaz can explain Brandon Smith to me, probably.

I wouldn't be opposed to him in the 4th. He reminds me of that 6'9" kids in middle school that the coach tries to convince to come out for the basket ball team. Sure his physical traits will get you some blocks and some rebounds, but his knowledge of the game and lack of refined skills usually end up being a hinderance.
Smith is like that. He can fly around the filed and be in on every play...but if he's missing the tackle or blowing the assignment or misreading the play...what good does he do? he'll be a pretty good ST player and rotational LB...but I wouldn't expect much more out of him for a year or two...assuming he can be coached up
Now watch this MF soak up all the knowledge in the world over the summer and make me look stupid

Love that Tyler smith pick! Definitely one of my second round sleepers for right tackle. I think he can thrive at RT i in the nfl

Agreed, I hope these people are overthinking it, Hackett still runs the same amount of inside zone and Duo as any other team … plus, shopping at the bargain in the dollar general is a good way to get your HoF QB killed in pass pro.

Not at all.
You’re far from the only one questioning is instincts, literally every analysis I read on him is the same.
But that’s why he’s a 2nd to 3rd round prospect.
