I don't want to over-invest in the defense. Yes, you can do that. Ask the Patriots, Steelers of the 90's, and Kerry Collins/Tennessee about it. That said...Kinlaw at 15 is absurd. He's as talented as Suh, just not as hyped. Ya dig?

the rest of the picks are fine. If I had to defend the Hurts pick, it's that he's more talented than Daniel Jones, who was a first rounder two years ago. He's more talented than Kirk Cousins, Andy Dalton, Jimmy Garrappollo QB that is en vogue now. At his best he is a rich man's Jeff Garcia. Which is a nicer way of saying he's a poor man's Drew Brees, so long as you recall how good Garcia *actually* was in San Francisco.

It's fine to develop a young QB, even if you have a young QB as your QB...word.

He. was. there. The trade offers I got for people to move up for him were pathetic. So **** it. He can Lock can fight it out. One of them is a HoFer.

I addressed the line with the rest of the picks.

I gave up a lot, but I secured a legendary first round. I injected some talent and energy into the defense, too.

Lamb at 15 is a dream. Claypool is a big talent, Jackson has Pro Bowl talent, at least in 2020. Terrell Lewis was just a big value pick. He does, if successsful, give us a new wrinkle. He also, if successful, makes Von more expendable.

no but talk is now he is CB2 on alot of teams boards....henderson is now being considered CB1 and top 10 pick by a bunch of teams apprently.....a drop for him is possible, not 2nd rd...but it wouldnt shock me on draft day to see him fall out of the top 10....its dumb some team will be getting a steal at that point....
    Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan

    Draft
    RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
    RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

    FA

if he dropped within striking distance. I would be all over that. I think some people have concerns and of course it's ridiculous that just because they played at the same school but the Malcolm Jenkins concern. Of course if you could give me a guy that I knew would play at an All-Pro level at safety at 15 for the next 10 years I'd probably look at that as well.
