Get this deal done!
Im going to try to put this back on topic tho
Is it worth it? If they only give him a big one year deal, he's def gone next year. Something team friendly so he could finish his career ewith Den would be nice but this isn't realistic if hes all about the $ now.
At least if he knows hes a FA next year he'll play his ass off this year, may be the best we could hope for, and look for a replacement.

I had my Escort for about 20 years. I paid $3500 for it almost new, and as a front wheel drive it ran fine in both snow and rain, was incredibly cheap and almost never had mechanical issues.
Every car or truck I've owned since has cost me a boat load of $ in repairs and time spent in the damn shop.
There's not much point in a one year deal unless Elway thinks the team has a realistic chance to win a SB this year, which would be totally delusional. Is it worth it? It's great for Chris Harris. He gets paid this year, and next year he becomes a FA and will get around $17m or more -- as long as he continues to play at his current high level and doesn't suffer a devastating injury.
So, it's a risk for him, but the upside is a new 3 year deal with perhaps $30M + in guarantees. For the Broncos it pretty much sucks though.
They pay more this year, and don't even have him on the roster next year.
What does the tag look like next year?
