Now he says "don't be surprised if before the season is out, dalton risner is starting at lt for you."

now, i don't know whether this is pure nonsense or brilliant inside dope on what fangio really thinks about bolles and risner. I don't know.

But, so far risner has met or exceeded expectations, so i suppose that kind of praise is normal to hear. Whether it really could come true or not i suppose depends on bolles. If he turns it around, then no. If he keeps holding all the time there's no way that fangio and muchak will tolerate that.

He will either learn or sit. And if he does sit, and frankly that's the way to bet right now if you had to bet, then someone has to take his place and that could well be risner, if they didn't want to move james out of the rt spot they are paying him so much $ to excel at.

They got him to play rt, not lt. He doesn't want to have to suddenly switch over to the left side. He came here expecting bolles to be the lt.

But, something has to happen if bolles continues to suck like he did last year, getting multiple penalties on consecutive plays. Dude held on three straight plays against kansas city. Not subtle. Straight up wrassled his man. Flag. Did it again. Flag. Got into it with the referee and then committed another foul on the third play, but the ref wanted the game to end sometime that evening, and calling constant holding penalties on bolles would just delay things too much. So, the third blatant holding in a row went unpenalized.

The chiefs crushed the spirit of the broncos and went home. No, bolles is going to have to get significantly better. Because vic fangio did not draft him and does not care.

He has nothing invested in any of these players. He'll tell elway to get rid of bolles if he doesn't think kuper and munchak can get through to him.
    wtf.

Improved? He wasn't on the field that much.

This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
