21 year old kids playing a game for a living?
I get where you're coming from but the reality is their job is different than ours. If his team plays well then what does it matter?
Again, I think every 20 mins is too much, but if he's successful so be it. If he's not, great, they're a competitor!
......he said posting from a message board at work.
More than half the NFL is under 26. While that makes them adults it makes them young men who are bound to act childish and foolish, especially in large groups of like minded similar individuals.
Is what it is.
Not to mention, this is a competitor, if you think it's dumb you should hope it spreads to exactly 31 teams!
He’s talking about team meetings. He’s not stopping the game for cell phone time. He’s not stopping practice for cell phone time. Anyone who has had a full day of meetings and PowerPoints will understand.
I imagine the players are told to leave the phones in their lockers or powered down during team meetings or they'd never get anywhere with people texting back and forth. In return, the players know they are never more than 20 minutes away from their next chance to check their phones. Can you imagine 60 guys in a room with constant bedeleep, bedeloop, kaching, ee-haw every few seconds? It would destroy concentration.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
Sounds like an addiction to me.
