Default Qb throw velocity at the combine

I am not a believer in arm strength or velocity is the best indicator of how good a quarterback will be at the next level. But what did interest me here is that the two guys at the top of this list are guys that have been said to have average to maybe slightly above-average arms. Which could potentially for me make me feel better about drafting a Rypien or a Grier

I'd take a flyer on Thorson.

    Maybe Grier if he’s a mid-round pick ... maybe.

What route were they testing this on?

Maybe that’s why Rypein throw every other throw in the dirt, trying to hard to show velocity he doesn’t have.

I don't know how the drills work and ourlads is the only group that puts the radar on them. I know it aint just sit back and huck away because Lamar has a huge arm and he tested extremely poorly last year.

This is not exactly correct. There is no drill that measures the velocity of the throws. They just gunned the throws the QBs were making on out routes. The guys with cannons would slow it up for more of a touch pass, where as the guys without cannons may throw it harder.

Point is, that a guy like Lock, Thoroson, Tyree, etc would throw a lot harder if there was a drill where they were asked to throw it as hard as they can.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
