    I don't think there are 30 bands I like enough to say they're my 30 favorites. I'd imagine once I got past #10 it'd be a lot of inconsistent artists.

    I'm just surprised Shake hasn't come in and said that Oasis is better than both the Beatles and the Stones.

    At least that would make some sense.

    *The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

    The Stones, all day every day.

    Per Aberdien;

    The highs of the Rolling Stones were higher than the highs of the Beatles. The Lows of the Rolling Stones were lower than the lows of The Beatles.
    Sums it up perfectly for me. The funny thing about the Beatles for me is that I have a lot of respect for their body of work, and you cannot under-rate their importance and influence. I also have no Beatles songs in my library, and have about 15 or so from the Stones that I still regularly listen to. Gimme Shelter holds up amazingly well, as does Can you hear me knocking. Love those tunes. Even here, I'm not much of a Stones fan for anything after Goats head Soup, but when they were good...Man

    “When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

    So we concluded Beatles, right? It was resounding and near unanimous if I recall.
