To me Zep has the best of the best, but the bulk of their stuff doesn't do it for me. The Beatles are Gods.

    What are the criteria!!!

Band I listen to the most:

    1. The Rolling Stones
    2. The Beatles
    3. Led Zeppelin

    Band with most consistent output:

    1. The Beatles
    2. Led Zeppelin
    3. The Rolling Stones

Band that has had the most influence:

    1. The Beatles
    2. Led Zeppelin
    3. The Rolling Stones

    Band with most musical talent:

    1. Led Zeppelin
    2. The Beatles
    3. The Rolling Stones

I think no matter the order, it's clear to me that they're the top 3.

Depending on mood, I'll go with Beatles and Zeppelin as a 1A and 1B. But I'd replace the Stones with The Who

I'm going to do an experiment. Since I'm not super familiar with the albums of both the Stones and the Who, I'm going to pick each band's top 4 albums according to this list and decide which I like better. From an 'album' perspective.

    vs.

    Tommy
    The Who Sell Out
    Live at Leeds
    My Generation

Do yourself a favor and add Quadrophenia to the list for The Who

Aite, and I'll add another Stones album. Stones fans--what say you? Out of Our Heads, Tattoo You, or Between the Buttons?

I would personally just cut out that live album and replace it with Quadrophenia.

Are you gonna listen in chronological order?

The Stones at the top of their game are hard to beat.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.
