So raiders trade Cooper for a 1st and then trade for brown with 3rd and 5th. That was nicely done. Damn you Chucky.

They were going to whether he was on the team or not. He was clearly going to be a cancer if he stayed. Hell he already was a cancer. They had to do what they had to do.

And for those of you who thought the Broncos should have tanked last season instead of going on that brief winning streak, the Raiders also have a higher draft position this spring.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

I agree, but they certainly have a huge cap hit though.

Bell now coming out with complaints against the Big Ben.

Bell said he believes the Steelers would have won the Super Bowl had he played in 2018, but that the team suffers from being under Roethlisberger’s control. According to Bell, Big Ben wants to win the game a certain way – which can lead to issues on the offensive end.

    Via Sports Illustrated:

“The organization wants to win. Tomlin wants to win. Ben wants to win—but Ben wants to win his way, and that’s tough to play with. Ben won a Super Bowl, but he won when he was younger. Now he’s at this stage where he tries to control everything, and [the team] let him get there.

He adds: “So if I’m mad at a player and I’m not throwing him the ball—if I’m not throwing A.B. the ball and I’m giving JuJu [Smith-Schuster] all the shine or Jesse [James] or Vance [McDonald] or whoever it is, and you know consciously you’re making your other receiver mad but you don’t care—it’s hard to win that way.”

Bell may have been alluding to the Steelers’ loss in Denver in November, where Roethlisberger threw an interception in the end zone on a pass to Brown to seal the game. After the game, Roethlisberger criticized Brown’s route running in a radio interview, and said that the Steelers should have targeted Smith-Schuster on all four plays.

That whole situation just seems like it was a toxic mess.

Sounds like it still might be a toxic mix because the organizational structure is still the same. The GM commented earlier this off-season that Ben has 52 kids under him.

Based on that statement, there seems to be substance to the comments of AB and Bell that the organization has empowered Ben to try winning games his way. I'm okay if the Steelers continue to be a disfunctional team.
Too bad she doesn't cheer for the Patriots dressed like this
