Default Steelers agree to deal AB to Raiders

According to this article, the Steelers have agreed to trade Antonio Brown to the Raiders in exchange for a third- and fifth-round pick.

    http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/2...eal-ab-raiders

Seems like the Raiders obtained AB for pennies on the dollars, but I'm not sure how AB's unique/selfish personality will affect the Raiders and their lockerroom. Curious what Broncos fans think of the rumored trade?
Too bad she doesn't cheer for the Patriots dressed like this

They are welcome to him, frankly. I wish them both ill

Can you imagine two major egos, Gruden and Brown butting heads? Could get real interesting.

Honestly, this is a good deal for the Raiders. Steelers had no leverage, had to eat $21.1 million in dead money, and got back only a couple of mid-round picks. The Raiders would have been dumb not to do it.

On the other hand, they cried poverty last year about paying Mack but now can make AB the highest paid WR in the league?

While at the same time jettison Cooper to Dallas who had a great 2nd half of the year in Dallas.

How long before AB starts blaming Carr every time a drive sputters?
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

If I was the GM I woulda kept him and benched him. You can’t reward that kind of behavior unless you want more of it going forward.

Lol no you wouldn't have. Paying a ton of money just to sit a disgruntled player on the bench would have been about the dumbest thing they could do. All that does is make him more of a cancer while eating up your cap. Better to cut bait, save money, and get some picks back.

how in tha fock are they saving money? They straight up got fleeced. Which serves as an example for any player on any contract unhappy with their team for whatever reason.

They are saving money by....not having to pay him anymore?

He's perfect for Vegas, and that's a problem.

But he lead the league in TDs last year. That's a plus.

This is a bigger positive than the negatives that haven't played out yet.

Not giving up any firsts or our second is an even bigger plus.

I won't defend the Mack trade. Ever.

About the Cooper move, they basically traded Cooper and 3rd and a 5th for Brown + 1 first rounder.

    Sounds good to me.

I don’t care how much of a pain in the ass this guy is for is own team, I don’t want him in the division unless it’s on my team.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Agreed. Having the best WR in football in our division now is not a great thing for us.

It was a lot more fun when it was Siberia.
