Well...they had like 80 mil in space going in, so they could sign Darby and Callahan if they wanted as well. But other than additional secondary help and maybe another LB to go with Kirksey and Avery...they are loaded. Left tackle needs to be addressed as well. Greg Robinson hasn't exactly lived up to his potential.

Just think.....if LSU had better QB play, and less of the Les Miles offense, Landry & Beckham would have really excelled as a duo.

They won 10+ games every year the two of them were there and went to a National Championship game, so it's a hard argument to make.

As a duo, it wasn’t until Cam Cameron was OC( Mettinberg working with Cameron), in 2013, that Landry & Beckham both had 1000+ yards each. Anyway, they’re pretty good together given good QB play & coaching.

The Browns should be really fun to watch this year.

Just looked at our dead cap numbers...its around 21 mil this year and is mostly made up by 6 players

    Keenum- 7 mil
    Marshall- 4 mil
    DT- 3.5 mil
    Stewart- 2.8 mil
    Watson- 1.3 mil
    Lynch- 1.2 mil

No other player over a million

Looking at Estimated cap space we have some room for a few under radar street FA's and our Draft picks, but looking at the numbers I don't see any way to make more big splashes.
    Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan

    Draft
    RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
    RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

    FA

The Giants may come out of this looking like geniuses. Now, I'll admit that signing him before dealing him was stupid. That said...they now have 2 first round picks and reportedly no desire to take the Buckeye at 6 (I know, liar season). They just replaced Landon Collins with a better athlete and got picks. If the lack of love for Haskins is true, there are 1 of 2 scenarios I would expect to see come out of this...

1-Trade up for Murray. If you like Murray, getting away from an expensive, of injured diva to get your QOTF is a no brainer. And it saves a ton of $ AFTER 2019. You have your QB and RB of the future and a solid defense.

2-Fix the roster now with your 2 first round picks, let Eli have his farewell tour, suck for luck and draft the QOTF in 2020.

Or am I giving them way too much credit???

The Earl Thomas thing confuses me because Demarious Randall is pretty good at that FS spot and Thomas would just push him out. Would be interesting to see how they'd play both of them.
Reports this morning say the Browns are not going to pursue Earl Thomas, and they like Randall there as you said

    Bill Williamson:

"The Broncos went from one of the more attractive organizations in the NFL to one in total disarray. McDaniels will go down as one of the most reviled figures in Denver sports history".

Maybe not. Apparently, Kareem Jackson's year one salary is only 6 mil.
