Obviously if he performs, people get excited for him.

But right now? I'm struggling trying to muster enthusiasm to watch the broncos play. That's rough. This feels less exciting than Case ******* Keenum, and that physically hurts me to write.

How did the Ravens bury anyone since 2012, again (not arguing that Flacco is better than Keenum here - although, for the money? 27 million dude. 27 million for a guy that got beat by a rookie that Harbaugh didn't even trust to throw the ball). As I said, I also read crap tons of Baltimore Ravens articles and they all were unequivocal in the fact that Flacco was not making shit happen (with stats -hard realized stats from those that have suffered through hard times). Specifically on the deep ball.

    Year after year.

So, if you want nuance, I say to thee that thine adoration of yon journeyman Joseph doth be displaced, good sir. Tossing Pro Football Focus aside, as a knight does the flower of a sweet admirer...

...stats are still stats. PFF is just the beginning. There are no stats to be found where Joe Flacco is a leader in deep ball offense. None. At all.

Please show some numbers that show that Flacco actually has some 'deep passing offense'. Otherwise, 'grrr, grr and blah, blah' is not nuance. It doth be a fairy tale that one tells to oneself in the darkest of nights, when one seeks to justify one's place in the world and has no better manner to express one's thoughts.

You know, nuance. Blah blah. Grrr grrr.

If you've got no stats or facts to offer in the big ball that is your opinion of yourself, at least offer some literary nonsense, as I have done.

If Big Arm was all it took to be a good deep ball passer then Dan McGuire and Billy Joe Tolliver would have been the best deep-ball Passers in the history of the game.
Aaaaaaagain, they’re not running the same offense, not all 20+ yard attempts are created equal, Keenum simply can not be asked to throw the same passes you can Flacco. Flacco’s are more difficult, if for no other reason than defenses have to prepare/respect for any pass ... literally ... and not just a back-shoulder throw that’s just beyond whatever criteria that PFF deems “deep”.

Go watch the Broncos/Ravens game again, there is a couple deep passes in that game alone that separates Flacco from Barf Keenum.

They’re not the same, at all, the stats can suck a wet fart. I never said Flacco was the leader of anything and that’s apparently where you got it twisted, I said they’re not the same, your stats have no context.

Dude, Keenum had an Int on a deep out playaction flea-flicker that Flacco (or 90% of NFL QB’s) can complete in his sleep, comparing stats of passes beyond 15 yards down field is not comparing what you think it’s comparing.

I’m not even arguing that Flacco is good, I’m just saying your stats prove exactly one thing ... how many times he attempted and completed a “deep” pass. That’s it.

Not only that but there is a huge difference in what kind of talent Keenum had at WR compared to Flacco. Its just night and day in that regard.

The Broncos had to go to a flea-flicker to attempt a deep out ... and it was picked.

Flacco won’t even have the talent Keenum enjoyed last season, DT and ES are gone/out.

Not that I know of, we’ll see cause it happened late in the season.

I think much of 2019 depends on this.

Why we have elite WR talent with zero question compared to anything Bmore had...we should be good......

Yahoo Sports' Charles Robinson recently indicated that Denver does not want to put pressure on 2019 starting QB Joe Flacco by selecting his understudy on Day 1. Additionally, a belief exists that they would rather mold a developmental project under new offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello, and devote their top choice to fill another roster hole.

Lets be clear I have no problem with scags developing a guy like Thorson or Stidham or Rypien, and I really am not even fond of any of the top guys outside of Lock. However this screams again mental make-up issues for Flacco, which he has had rumors of his whole career, capped off by his attitude last year after Jackson was drafted. Hey he can throw deep though so we should be good....That's why Bmore couldn't get rid of him fast enough.....

Hopefully scags is the QB whisperer we all hope so the development pays off for the franchise otherwise we are just wasting time because were worried about a vets feelings.....
This is disturbing, considering the backup scrub in SF is what “Scang” is looking for in a developmental QB. Positively Kubiak-esq.

I have zero doubt that this time next year y’all are worked up into a lather at the thought of seeing Case Rypien slinging wounded ducks to the RB’s coming out of the backfield.
