Before Pat got sidelined with his illness his goal was to get back to the SB and compete for Championships. He never said how he felt how it should be done, just that he wanted the Broncos to be in the mix. Since Elway has come back we have done just that by any means necessary. Flacco is just another part of that, whether you agree or disagree with how the team is going about that you cant argue that Denver isnt trying. Sure, i would love to find the QOTF like most people on here but i cant argue that Denver and Elway arent living up to what they promised they would do. 2 SB appearances with a Championship has proven that already.
Consistently putrid
Some folks here will take a boot in the face from me when they try and jump on the wagon in Oct

My take: He's not going to be as bad or good as people think. He is an upgrade over Keenum - that's what we needed.
My take. He's going to be every bit as bad as Keenum.
i hate that we're committed to flacco at QB for the next twelve years. . . really, what is john thinking?
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
If he's truly in his prime John should sign him to a 5+ year commitment now before the price goes up!
Ask Cugel, you should always sign guys a decade early to get 'em cheap!
