1. With what money
I guess we're solving the QB issue in baby steps. haha
These lightweight wheelchairs help so many people every day.
"I spoke to an opposing head coach after that trade was made, and he said the Broncos 'stole' Joe Flacco — his word, not mine. And he will turn out to be the exact quarterback that they needed," Schefter said. "This guy is very good with quarterbacks, knows quarterbacks, and believes the Broncos stole a guy out of there that's really going to benefit their offense."
Yes, but that is an upgrade. Especially when our strength going forward is going to be our running game. The guy who had a noodle arm was getting stacked boxes which eliminated our strength and put the games on noodle arm's shoulder. In theory, HOPEFULLY we won't have a lot of games on Flacco's shoulders to win.
Adam Schefter talks to NFL GMs and Team Presidents and coaches almost every day (his words). This quote is the league position on Joe Flacco.
I still don't necessarily buy it. Flacco was playing well until he got hurt last year, but Denver really doesn't have a great OL and he's old and immobile.
As for whether he's better than Keesum, of course. Keesum was a one-year starter who had a career year for MN. Joe Flacco is a former SB MVP who has started almost every game for 11 seasons. There's no comparison.
Unless Mike Munchak is a miracle worker, this could get ugly fast. The key will be whether LT Bolles can learn to stop holding. Up till now his technique has been horrible, which is why he's holding so much. He uses bad technique, loses leverage on his opponent, and has to tackle him to prevent a possible injury to his QB.
If we can add a solid guard in the draft, stay healthy and get even a moderate improvement from the coaching of Munchak...then I think our line is capable of being top 10. Can't really ask for more than that without investing a huge chunk of your cap into it (Cowboys)
