It's vastly overstated and a cop out argument that stupid people make. Two years ago MLB had higher playoff parity than the NFL. The top two teams on the list didn't make the playoffs this year.

Two other teams, the Angels and Mets, also missed the playoffs despite being in the top ten. Which means 40 percent of the top ten missed the playoffs entirely.
I hate small market MLB fans, Mo. Just in general. Not you.
Well. It’s not stupid, and frankly, you can pretty much **** off.
A hometown-owned radio station in Kansas City bought the radio rights for two years and lost money on the deal. The Yankees radio deal isn’t losing stations money. The Yankees and Dodgers can charge, and make, more money on their local television contracts than the Brewers and the Pirates. These are facts. There are economic reasons why it’s harder for a small market to maintain success. That doesn’t mean teams don’t do it, or can’t do it, they do. It just means those economic realities exist.
And again, **** off if you don’t like fans of small market teams. I am one.
Lot of pitches for Chapman, but he’s so nasty.
