The Nats threw everything they had at Houston last night and despite Rendon not having a good game at the plate, they barely pulled it out. The biggest takeaway I had from last night was Alvarez finally woke up. He took a bad strikeout with the bases loaded and two outs, but if his bat wakes up and he can start making contact again...watch out Nats.

This is just great baseball. I love a good old fashion pitcher's duel.
If Bregman let's that ball go does Correa get the out? I think probably so but any 3rd baseman worth his salt is going for that ball. Baseball is a funny game. This Pressly kid hasn't really pitched bad but the ball takes some weird bounces.
Went a little sideways for the Astros.
Damn, the Nats are absolutely bitch slapping the Astros now. Wow, I'm actually stunned.
That game was a kick in the nuts.

The Houston Astros fired Brandon Taubman but it's too little, too late
