If it's any consolation, I hate Seager with a burning passion. I will be so happy when we let him walk. He's so overrated and shit. He never does anything useful.

Is that true? If so I have not heard about that. Well, who ever was making the call as far as pitching cost LA a ring. Watching Rich Hill lose his mind in the dugout twice as he was dealing only to see his replacement(s) lose the games was priceless.

It is. The lineups and pitching decisions are done by analytics strictly. That's part of gift and curse of it all.

Yeah Roberts is basically a figurehead. Their analytics guys in the front office dictate all in game decisions from what I understand.

Yep - if it's close based on that, his preference can win out. He's there to manage the egos and emotions of the players. I imagine it would be very strange to manage the Dodgers.
