Didnt know where to stick this but its baseball related so I'll stick it here.

I like what they've done with the Little League World Series. They changed the age cutoffs so now there are no 13 year olds in the Majors division all star tourney, which is the big tournament that is in Willimasport Pennsylvania. It used to be that almost every team had a minimum of 2 freaks that were huge and threw 70+ MPH. This year I havent seen hardly any of those kids. This feels more like little league baseball in it's purest form. These kids look and play like 12 year old kids. Dont get me wrong these kids are still phenomenal baseball players but it seems a little more equally competitive. I like it.

I hated seeing kids with five o’clock shadows and boners.

    Yeah, my bad.

Tell you what, that's messed up to make a kid kill and eat a pet chicken...imagine doing that with Captain Fluff..disturbing.

The #MLB pitchers with at least three no-hitters is not long: Nolan Ryan, Sandy Koufax, Larry Corcoran, Cy Young and Bob Feller, and now Justin Verlander. #Denver7

Justin Verlander posts his third career no-hitter. Last pitch of the game, his 120th, was a 97-mph fastball that Bo Bichette grounded to third. #Astros pitching staff why they are favored to win World Series. #Denver7

How to wrap up the Cy Young Award with one start. Almost perfect.

It was a thing of beauty.

Tell ya what...I'm not real impressed with Greinke so far.

He's been 4-1 so far since the trade. I don't care how many runs he gives up so long as the team wins and the offense averages 5.5 runs per game so giving up 4 is not unreasonable.

His stats have all gotten worse since the trade. The team isn't winning those starts because of Greinke; they're winning in spite of him (not all, but most). It helps the rotation having him in there in the three-spot, but he hasn't been impressive. Now with Aaron Sanchez out for the year that five spot is up for grabs again. Framber sucks. Urquidy is young. Why they aren't starting Josh James is still beyond me.

Greinke's stats in six starts with Houston: 37.1 IP, 20 runs (16 earned), 5 HR allowed, 8 BB, only 27K, .281 average against, and a 3.86 ERA.

I was able to watch a complete Tigers game last night for the first time this season. I consider myself fortunate in that the collection of abject stiffs wearing the Old English D were for one special night able to beat the New York Yankees 12 - 11 via a walk-off RBI single by Jordy Mercer. Baseball sure is a funny game, isn't it? 6 Yankee HR's against the worst team in MLB (and a historically bad one at that) and they still lose

Baseball is funny. Astros whipped Seattle 21-1 on Sunday, 15-0 against Oakland on Monday, then lose 21-7 last night. I am going to the game tonight, so they better not lose.

Had a blast at the game last night, even though the Astros lost. My Division President gave me two tickets, so I took my buddy. Ended up being club level seats, so it was great.
