Interesting, apparently I am a Salt Lake City fan now as they are an affiliate for the Broncos. Makes sense because I know there is a large contingent of the Broncos fanbase in Utah. I might check out the next game, I don't know much about it. Be cool if they actually treat it like a developmental league:

    NFL Team affiliations
These are not random. NFL Teams have player rights to AAF teams players and they are as follows:

    Arizona Hotshots
    • Arizona Cardinals
    • Baltimore Ravens
    • Chicago Bears
    • San Francisco 49ers

    Atlanta Legends
    • Atlanta Falcons
    • Carolina Panthers
    • Jacksonville Jaguars
    • Washington Redskins

    Birmingham Iron
    • New England Patriots
    • Buffalo Bills
    • Cleveland Browns
    • Pittsburgh Steelers

    Memphis Express
    • Cincinnati Bengals
    • Indianapolis Colts
    • New Orleans Saints
    • Tennessee Titans

    Orlando Apollos
    • Miami Dolphins
    • New York Giants
    • New York Jets
    • Tampa Bay Buccaneers

    Salt Lake Stallions
    • Denver Broncos
    • Green Bay Packers
    • Minnesota Vikings
    • Seattle Seahawks

    San Antonio Commanders
    • Dallas Cowboys
    • Houston Texans
    • Kansas City Chiefs
    • Philadelphia Eagles

    San Diego Fleet
    • Detroit Lions
    • Los Angeles Chargers
    • Los Angeles Rams
    • Oakland Raiders

So if a player is on an AAF team, which of the 4 NFL teams have dibs?

None. I think it's the opposite direction. If I'm on a Broncos practice squad or sign one of those spring contracts, I may get assigned to Salt Lake.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

Yep, that's correct. Any NFL team can sign someone off any AAF team.

I just looked it up, I guess its the other way around. If a team on the affiliates list drops a player, the respective AAF Team has dibs on that player. If a player starts to shine in the AAF, they are not contractually obligated to the affiliate teams and can sign with any team in the NFL. Could be interesting if they turned it into a true developmental league but right now it just seems like practice squad battles.

The Arizona/Utah game was by far the most entertaining. One of those teams will be my favorite.

I might wind up jumping on the Birmingham bandwagon. Realizing that Memphis is associated with Ole Miss and Birmingham is associated with Mississippi State makes that a much easier decision.

As a Vols fan, Memphis should be the no brainer. But their uniforms are horrendous and they don't put forth a quality product.

Beale street is ok. A poor facsimile of Bourbon, but it's ok.

Oops. I didn’t really mean it as a knock on the city. Just like the Memphis Tigers and stuff.
