Lock looked solid throwing at the combine for what it’s worth.

Agreed. Steep drop off after the top 3. And lock is on the other side of the peak himself.

If this Murray to AZ buzz has legs ugggg. Means someone almost has to give the Jets way too much to ensure they get a Qb. Teams in the top 5 will begetting whatever they want. I hate AZ right now

Its Haskins, Murray and Lock for the top 10....in my opinion, and I wouldn't take any other QB in rd 1. Be interesting to see, as I think Miami will trade for Carr after Oakland drafts Haskins, and Washington will trade for Rosen. Which means if we don't take Lock, he and Jones could both drop in a big way.

Mixed reviews on Lock at his pro day. More of the same he has shown in games. Live arm, good athleticism but sails mid range throws and has bad footwork.

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

If Cutty would have been able to continue his development under Shanahan, he’d still be our QB. He was much better than most Broncos fans give him credit for. He just needed the right coaching.

What could have been had Shanny not get fired. But he deserved it.

And we'd have continued to be held back by a bottom tier defense.
