I remember that. Kuper is from Anchorage, Alaska. Same for Schlereth.

Munchak only interviewed for HC because his daughter and granddaughter live here. He said he only came here as OL coach because his daughter and granddaughter live here. He's settled. That's a great thing, IMO.

Any news if this hiring is actually going to happen? They interviewed him, then no news since.

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Default Broncos name Chris Kuper as assistant offensive line coach

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have named Chris Kuper as their assistant offensive line coach, Head Coach Vic Fangio announced Tuesday.

Kuper, a former Broncos fifth-round pick who played eight seasons at guard, has spent the previous three years on the Miami Dolphins’ coaching staff.

Kuper spent 2016 as a quality control coach before being promoted to an assistant offensive line coach in 2017.
