Thread: Mid to late round quarterbacks in the draft.

  1. #1

Default Mid to late round quarterbacks in the draft.

So of course it’s draft time pretty much for me when I start really looking into guys in all round’s. This Cole Kelley guy really intriguing to me. 6’6 260 pounds 42 touchdowns 6 ints 5000 yard passing with a live elite arm and good accuracy

    https://youtu.be/KAvD5GzP3cY

Dude damn near reminds me of Big Ben I mean Kelley is a big guy and he can still be mobile enough to take off and get you 5 yard’s, he also shrugs off defenders in the pocket like Ben in his prime day’s. He will stare down the barrrll and deliver the ball. I think this guy is worthy of a 5th or 6th round developmental guy. A lot of arm talent oozing through this guy.

Any of you scout type fan’s heard of Kelley? I hadn’t due to not being engaged in EVERYBODY but now that I am actually looking this guy stood out to me. Especially over guys like coral and ridder and strong and all these other guys people talking about drafting with a first round pick. Hell to the no for me…. I’d rather throw a dart at this cole Kelley guy in round 5 maybe 4.

Also who are some sleeper guys or guy that you like?

Cole Kelley was MVP of Shrine Game, iirc, he’s a dinosaur though. Dude can’t move well.

"late round guys" at QB means the third round. . . anyone drafted beyond that is a camp arm. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Oh yeah? I’ll take a perceived camp arm that turned into Brady

All I seen was a bunch of bubble screens and inaccurate short passes where the WR ran up yards after catch. Wasn’t impressive at all. From these videos I wouldn’t even take a flyer on him with a late round pick

The chance of a QB becoming something especially in later rounds is very very minimal anyway but you asked who we liked so i answered.

That’s fine I never said you shouldn’t like him, just noted that he looks like trash.
