I think the Chiefs just won their second, possibly third playoff game in the last 25 years. The Raiders have been rebuilding for 15 years and have one good season to show, and that's now what two or three years ago? The Chargers have been better overall, but not much.

Under Elway, the Broncos have four or five division crowns. Six or so playoff wins. Two Super Bowl appearances and one Super Bowl win. Between the Super Bowl loss, with one of the best offenses in NFL history, Elway retooled the team and created one of the best defenses in NFL history, and they won a Super Bowl with that defense. Yes, he's had back to back losing seasons, but after arguably one of the best starts to an NFL GM career ever.
Nah, I disagree. I think he genuinely feels a sense of urgency--but that's probably how he's felt the whole time. Look, I got confidence in the guy, especially after the P King interview. I like honest assessments that are hardly self-congratulatory from individuals in possession of a compelling body of work who aren't satisfied with being #2.

    Let's ride!

Yea, I've been beating the table for him over on the official boards. Hard to believe they let him leave though.

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

It sounds likely they let Suggs and Weddle walk.

I would not want Suggs 36 years I don't see how he would be helpful when we have young pass rushers to develop.

I don't think he was suggesting him for us, simplying saying that he's a free agent that the Ravens have to account for when attempting to re-sign Mosley. Mosley will take priority over Suggs since thy are reported to be leaning towards letting him walk.
