DC for the Denver Broncos!
DC for the Denver Broncos!
Bill Williamson:
"The Broncos went from one of the more attractive organizations in the NFL to one in total disarray. McDaniels will go down as one of the most reviled figures in Denver sports history".
I like this addition. I think with fangio and Donatell our defense is going to be much improved.
love it. . . he was my top choice. . . startin' to come together, fellas. . .
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

I don't think Elway feels the same crushing pressure fans thinks he does. He wants to win, that's clear, but the Broncos have dominated the AFC West since he took over.
I think the Chiefs just won their second, possibly third playoff game in the last 25 years. The Raiders have been rebuilding for 15 years and have one good season to show, and that's now what two or three years ago? The Chargers have been better overall, but not much.
Under Elway, the Broncos have four or five division crowns. Six or so playoff wins. Two Super Bowl appearances and one Super Bowl win. Between the Super Bowl loss, with one of the best offenses in NFL history, Elway retooled the team and created one of the best defenses in NFL history, and they won a Super Bowl with that defense. Yes, he's had back to back losing seasons, but after arguably one of the best starts to an NFL GM career ever.
I'm pretty happy with everything so far. As long as we Address CB and ILB with very good players we should be a formidable defense again.
Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan
Draft

RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St
FA
1. With what money
Anyone else thinking about Ninja Turtles?
Basically Vic Fangio is his own DC so the most important post is the OC position. Fangio will be running the defense himself pretty much. The DC will be up in the booth relaying info to him on the field.
Come on Elway swing and get CJ mosley. Fangio likes a sod ILB for his systems
