It sucks that a lot of players get little contractual protection but coaches get paid money if they're fired.

Don’t care if fangio returns as long as shurmur and McMahon are gone.

I hate pat shurmur with a passion. Worst broncos hire in I don’t know how long. Bob slowik maybe. And stupid Vic is too loyal to fire him. If fangio refuses to fire shurmur then Vic must go

Zimmer had some juice. He was the old man first time hire who actually had some success. Fangio is a poor man's Zimmer as a HC. Zimmer is a good DC, but Fangio is great.

Zimmer can also beat some ass.

Zimmer is one of the few old Bengals I can still stand. To your point, when his defenses stopped being innovative he stopped being good.
