Default Assassin's CPF Natty Night 2 tier mock/off-season scenario

We going with 2 trains of thought tonight folks. One with a FA QB and the other with a draftee. Here goes...

    My preferred offseason:
    Sign Foles
    Resign Veldeer
    Sign FA TE and Safety
Sign mid tier FA WR for depth
    DRAFT
    1-White, LB, LSU
    2-Ford, OG, Oklahoma
    3-Love, CB, Notre Dame
    4A-Lawrence, DL, LSU
    4B-Dillard, OT, Washington State
    5A-Shurmur, QB, Vandy
    5B-Omenihu, DE, Texas
    6-Renfro, WR, Clemson
7-Bars, OT, Notre Dame (may drop due to injury)

    Draft QB version:
Spend the Foles $ on ILB
    Draft
    1-Locke, QB, Mizzou
    2-Murphy, CB, Washington
    3-Risner, OT, Kansas State
    4A and B-same
    5A-Hodge, ILB, Buffalo
    5B, 6 and 7- same

    Flame away...

I won't flame it. It's a valid take. I just disagree with the assumptions you have to make to proceed with this way.

But, if I made mine, I'd be making assumptions, too. The assumptions you make aren't wild, so it's a good post.

I will say that I wish this team valued ILB's as much as you do. White is the truth.

Gotta have that leader in the middle.

As good as Von is as a pass rusher, he is not a great LB overall when considering the other responsibilities.

He grades out well against the run. But he's not an ILB.

Not trying to imply he is, just that his limitations need to be counterbalanced by the guy next to him.

I didn't mean to imply that you were implying that.

    He's physically mind-boggling. I think he's LSU's best player.

    I love both those scenarios.

Any chance Greedy falls to 10? That boy bad.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Don't be Greedy. But yes. He bad. I think there's a chance, although slight, and it's also a position of great need.

Greedy is good, but I think Murphy and Baker are at least just as good. No way Murphy lasts until the 2nd round. Easily a top 20 pick...and I'd use #10 on him.

Murphy is Champ without the 4.2 speed, he’ll probably only run 4.4 or 4.5.
