I like your first option the best. Since we need corner and if the best corners in this draft worth a top ten pick that's another option. What about nose tackle? Peko getting long in the tooth and having someone who could get some playing time now and eventually slide into starting role when he retires wouldn't bad thing either. Wide bodies are harder to find than corners. Yes I realize you do have a defensive lineman in your mock, but if best DT are worth a top ten pick and available then that might not be a bad idea either.
I hope for James as well at RT....if we let paradis walk we should be good money wise to make that move. I would have a OL with bolles at LT, turner and Leary as guards. McGovern at center and James at RT. Then we need some depth from the draft at guard and tackle. With munchack helping we should be a pretty solid OL.
I don’t know if we need a Amos at safety. I think parks and Simmons will rebound under fangio’s scheme. Maybe they can get something out of cravens as well. I would def cut Stewart and let parks have his spot....Simmons just got screwed by being asked to do everything...he is legit if we can just let him play true FS...
However Amos would be a nice upgrade for the secondary....
