Default Will Carson Wentz be available via trade?

With Foles success again in the post season there is talk out of Philli of the Eagles signing Foles long term and trading Wentz. I for one would love to trade for Wentz assuming the cost isn't too high. Thoughts?

    He wont.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

    2 first rounders.

    And some player like Marshall.

And maybe give them a 3rd if they will also take keenum of our hands

I'd be surprised if they got that much for him. Wentz finished last season on the IR and is hurt again this post season so his prior health issues may drive his value down. I'd like any deal that would include Keenum but don't think his contract would make him very tradable. Marshall's contract isn't so bad but Marshall the play is. I don't see him have ANY trade value, likely cut and a back up on a different team next year.

I'd be willing to trade the farm for Wentz. His play this season was down from the year before because his knee was still recovering. I think he has a chance to bounce back a la Andrew Luck. I'd be willing to give 2 firsts any day of the week.

I don't really understand the "had a down year" comments. Granted, I didn't watch any Eagles' games other than the recent playoff, but it appears based on stats alone he was having a pretty darn good year.

More like 2 first rounders, Chris Harris Jr., and Phillip Lindsay. In other words, not happening.

Wentz is an extremely good quarterback. Philadelphia’s situation is kind of crazy.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Agreed. They have a very good kind of problem here. They simply can't ditch Wentz...but how do you get rid of Nick Foles? After his performance the past two seasons? Maybe Foles isn't "Elite", by whatever metric you want to use for that, but his performance sure has been, so I would actually rate him as Elite myself. And Wentz clearly is the real thing too, and younger, so how do you just bury Foles on the bench again going forward?

I would send them a couple first rounders and wouldn't think twice about it.

Wentz would generate a bidding war. But I doubt any team is right mind offers 2 first rounders for injury prone QB. I had been on IR 2 out of 3 years

Are you kidding? He would easily fetch 2 first rounders. I'd give them that in a heartbeat. Injuries are more of a fluky thing than anything. I'd be more than willing to take that chance.

Mack was 2 first rounders for a all pro. When was the last time we saw a QB traded for 2 1st round picks, Carson palmer to Oakland I believe after he was already a pro bowler several times and not injury prone. Wentz injury history
