I suspect he won't last til the 7th so I'd target him in the 5th.
Even with his injuries im surprised he has dropped so far down. Granted, this is fanspeak and not necessarily the official board (ive seen him rated around the 4th as well). Either way, i do like him and think a 4th or later round snag is a steal with him. I know we have Lindsey and Freeman but you can never have enough depth at RB.

Agreed, while Denver has some breathing room I don't think they should take quarterback who might have steep learning curve.

Especially if we dont know what kind of depth we are going to have at QB. I mean if its Flacco, another vet (cheaper than Keenum), and then a guy like Jackson maybe. But if we have to rely on two rookier QB's i would rather they both not have to climb that steep curve you mentioned. Is Hogan still on the roster? I just thought about that.

Agreed we should take a experienced guy in the draft who has a nfl skill set, not a project type late rd pick

Love would be 2nd string in Lindsay’s role, plus he’s a dangerous PR.

Ran another mock, saw some players rising and falling as compared to a month or so ago. Could have taken Lock but im still leaning more towards LB being a bigger need at this moment. No trades in this one.

I like it. I wouldn't take two quarterbacks neither one would play unless we're dealing with a lot injuries at quarterback. Do you have other possibilities for either spot where Denver is taking a quarterback?

Probably but as of now who do we have backing up Flacco? Hogan? that isnt much. Granted, everything after the first 3 picks are basically throwing shit at a fan but if by some luck of the gods any late round QB could pan out than why not? Denver will still need to have a contingency plan in case Flacco goes down so im ok with taking a shot on a couple late round QB's at this point. Im fine with a guy like Lock or Daniels but i just see to many other needs right now.

Have to get some interior OL out of this draft.

In answer to your question of "why not" the only thing I can think of that it's doubtful Denver will keep four quarterbacks on this team. Which would mean that there would either two rookie backing up only experienced quarterback on the roster or one those rookies would be cut. I would guess it would more than likely be the guy taken in the sixth round. Denver has had two rookies behind experienced quarterback but that was well over thirty years ago.

It could work if one of them was sent to the practice squad and Hogan was allowed to walk after this year...but if a QB is drafted in the 6th...I don't see him clearing through to make it to the practice squad. That would most likely be a UDFA

Yes, thought about that too, but I figured that it would be unlikely that quarterback would clear waivers.

I’d take this draft in a heartbeat, 3 Day One starters.

Approached this particular mock a bit differently than the others. Not really my ideal draft but didnt come out as bad as i thought it might.

    Round 1, Pick 15 (Trade w/Washington)
    Round 2, Pick 9 (Trade w/Washington)
    Round 2, Pick 14
    Round 3, Pick 7
    Round 4, Pick 6 (Trade w/Arizona(1)/Giants)
    Round 4, Pick 23
    Round 4, Pick 30 (Trade w/Giants)
    Round 5, Pick 10
    Round 5, Pick 18

In order to trade up with Arizona for the 1st pick of the 4th round i gave up our 6th, 7th, and a future 3rd. Then the Giants offered both the 6th and 30 pick of the 4th for the Zona 1st.
