Default Walterfootball's Draft Recap, Results and Denver Grades

So below will be a couple great links of reading. I'm always impressed by Walter football's draft coverage. Many here dislike him and he can be a hack about stuff however the site is repeatedly at the top of the draft coverage, and are also always at the top in getting the most picks right.

    See the links below.

Just like last year, this draft class has gotten praise. Hopefully, these two classes give them a core of players that will help them be in Super Bowl conversation for years to come.

The one I think Walter's was mistaken is calling Flacco injury prone that hasn't been the case historically.

Well he was hurt last year and dinged up year prior so there is some validity there. However this thread doesn't need to be about Flacco damnit!

I'm not trying make it all about Flacco, it just really caught my eye. It also caught my eye that Cecil Lammey was the first to be credited with linking Drew Lock to the Broncos.

Yeah there are a few rumors that some guys can take credit for for sure. I’m impressed they are tracking the media guys kind gives me a idea of who to pay attention a bit more come draft time lol

I suppose, when they went through which sports writers got the most pick right it showed me these guys are not that much better than anyone on the BF.

I don’t know about Cecil Lamey but people were talking about Elway’s love for Lock during the season.

I think during the season people were just thinking tall QB big arm, Elway needs a QB. At the Senior Bowl Lammey did report Lock was the number 1 guy at QB on the board for Denver. The real feat would have been calling lock drafted in rd. 2 by Denver lol.....Not sure a single person in the draft community or here thought that was possible lol

Exactly. Although...I did get TE from Iowa right. It was just the wrong one.

Lamey is a fraud, Elway/Lock were an item in sportstalk radio during the season.

Walter Football is referring only to the rumors they heard, I wouldn’t put it passed Lame to be the one shaping WF’s narrative in this article ... as Lame is completely full of himself and self-aggrandizing.

He’s a fraud, a draftnik just like you and me, except he conned The Fan out of a press pass.

Dude literally thinks he got Julius Thomas drafted.

IIRC Elway/Lock was in discussion in November once Kelly was out.
