I've been listening to metal for a long time and still recognize maybe a half dozen bands in this thread.

I like the new Demon Hunter album. The In flames album is good. I'm chomping at the bit for the new Whitechapel album and the new Slipknot album.

Hey, North.... with my baby boy grown up and in the Navy, I
rejoined my old bandmate in Epitaph.

1st demo track completed last night.
Guitar and bass for the other 8 songs have been recorded to send to the drummer we plan on working with.

Aaron played guitar and drums and did vocals on this.
He writes the lyrics, I play bass and write the riffs.

All but the opening riff on this song were written in 1992.

Straight doom on this one. The others are heavy metal, doom, death and thrash, with a hint of punk thrown into a blender.

1994 and 1995 recordings will soon be on vinyl, followed by the new demo and album.

I always find that Whitechapel has a handful of good songs but their albums as a whole never really wow me surprisingly. But "Reprogrammed to Hate" is an absolute banger of a tune and still one of my favorites from them. They also do a nice cover of Pantera's "Strength Beyond Strength".

North, I've always liked you and we've been acquaintances for like 14 years or so, but damn you straight to hell.
