This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

If your down to the number 2 QB the chances of that happening are slim to none anyway....Very rare to have a Jacoby Brisett or Nick Foles type player there. I'm glad we went after a young guy with potential instead of a guy like Mark Sanchez or some other retread....lol

I'm looking forward to a nasty defense and a ground game we can be proud, lets just hope Flacco don't mess it up lol
Nick Foles is a prime example of why you roster a QB with starter traits and let the Kubiak’s of the world fight over the Case Rypien’s of the world.

“Coach on the Field” and “knows the system” are a complete waste of time in today’s NFL, where does Brandon Allen land on the scale of Foles to Keesum?

Low risk high reward QBs > no reward high risk QB's.

Brandon Allen...that boy is not high reward. And if he is out on the field you can't win, probably.

One with talent - Sloter, or sign a guy with real talent like Kaep.

Noone is going to sign Kaep. Time to move past him.

The amount of media circus that would follow for a backup QB is simply not worth it for any team.

Sloter has potential, I liked him while he was here. Why is he a better choice? The Vikings had a chance to keep him and moved on and no other team in the league has signed him to the active roster either.

Now is the perfect time to sign Kap.

Seems like a strange thing to fall on your sword over.
