Hoyer is being paid $4 million a year in Indy - did we really want to spend that money on a guy who likely would never see the field? More accurately, would he have even signed here knowing he would likely be cut once Lock came back? That just wasn't a good fit for us.

this shit is a freaking joke.

signed the 4th worst qb on the rams roster.

just another in a long signings at the qb position that makes me wonder if elway was drunk when he did it.

I'm not sure that's why they didn't get Hoyer.
Money bro Hoyer commanded premium salary.

All in on Flacco, if he gets banged up its over.

So I get that Hoyer was going to get better money else where, I do understand that. I understand that if Flacco goes down then it's really over anyway. What I still am wondering is why bring in a guy that hasn't done anything with our team and cut a guy who wasn't that good, but had worked with the team? Won't they get about the same money and both be cut when Lock is back?

rams boards literally laughing at the broncos. i dont even know what the point is this season for this team.

might as well forfeit every game until Lock is back.

It's the backup QB. Step off the ledge my man. There was no one we could have signed who would have saved our season if Flacco goes down.

he isnt even a backup qb, he is a scrub who would lose every single game if asked to play.

and the season isnt getting saved even if Flucco stays healthy.

I don't think that's it either. Premium salary? He's a back up quarterback, who will make back up quarterback money. It probably has more to do with Lock.

hell i would have taken osweiler back over this nonsense. even the giraffe can win a few games.

This just confirms to me, this team is tanking for a draft pick.

9m guaranteed and i guarantee you Elway would never pay that much for a backup QB.

Like I said, we were picking off the scrap heap. Anyone was just going to be a warm body until Lock returns. Relax.

    Miami openly tanking not Denver.
