It was doomed from the start. I don’t need dudes on the Broncos payroll taking Broncos. That’s called propaganda.

- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

“I’m ready,” Lindsay said Monday at his youth football camp. “In my mind I’m ready — 100 percent. That’s all I can say. Once camp hits and y’all see me, you’ll know what I’ll be doing. That’s what it comes down to. You’ve just got two more days.”
Lindsay, who suffered a wrist injury in the Broncos’ penultimate game of the season, emphasized that the Broncos’ coaching and training staffs would make the final decision on the timing of his return.

rest - https://www.9news.com/article/sports...6-b843bd65d1b5DENVER — Negotiations between the Broncos and rookies Dalton Risner and Drew Lock have snagged to the point the team may have a couple second-round training camp holdouts.
The Broncos took Risner, the team’s expected starting left guard, with the No. 41 overall pick in the NFL Draft in late April and then traded up to take the quarterback Lock with the No. 42 pick.
According to multiple sources, Lock’s agent is seeking a “quarterback premium,” which is common for QBs taken in the first and third rounds. Lock was taken in the second round. (Second-round QBs since 2014 did not receive a premium). The premium Lock is seeking would mean either more money or more full guarantees in Lock’s contract than Risner’s slotted amount.
And Risner’s agent understandably doesn’t want to take less than the player selected behind him.

Hey guys, just a reminder that next Wednesday, July 24th, is probably going to be a super-dangerous day to be outside in the Denver area. Plan to be indoors, and keep a Weather Eye.
I think this needs a twitter troll account.
