I rate Ray - think he was unlucky with injury

I would like us to have offered him something commensurate to his time here as opposed to just letting him walk

I'm pretty sure he meant to say he rapes him.

I don't understand what isn't clear.

Maybe it's a translation thing....i think Ray is a good player, I think of it were not for that wrist injury, his fifth year option would have been taken up. I wish we offered him a deal, not sure who we will sign that will be as good.

Is “rating” someone only a positive saying in the U.K., Dave? That’s why everyone is confused here.

Because I rate Ray poorly.

He showed flashes, but for whatever reason (valid or not) I view him as lazy.

It’s really not him, per se, but where he was drafted. He was outperformed, IMO, by Shaquille Barrett and couldn’t stay healthy. That’s a death knell in the NFL for the career of a first round pick.

Gotcha - yeah - to say i rate that, is a statement in the postitive

But i totally get the point about not living up to his draft position (i just put more stock in the wrist injury being the cause of this rather than him being lazy)

He was lazy, he was a speed rusher and got buy doing that as a rookie, but when asked to stop the run, develop a better pass rush move bank, or just step up and work hard he didn't....lets not forget he was also part of the incident last year where he was joking around laughing last year after a loss, and was benched and called out because of that. VJ wasn't great, but losing to a crap SF team was no joking matter.

Ray is a bum.....I hope he goes to Oakland because he sucks, and will make their team worse....Mayock loved ray's first step out of college but he aint stupid, he hasn't been signed in Oakland, casue Mayock knows he is a lazy, 1 trick pony who is asking for to much money....

I'm wrong just as much as the next person ....But I have a Type A personality see stuff in black and white and standby my opinions and convictions. However I also can admit when I end up wrong(proof has to be there first lol) and also tend to see a bigger picture then some do. However, I am also just as much a message board warrior as the next person.
