Default 2019 who stays and who goes?

Figured I'd start a discussion about the upcoming offseason and the roster moves that may or may not occur. There will be significant savings with little to no dead money hits next season for several of the higher salary players who under performed this year or are on the decline. Thoughts?

Unfortunately, a lot of this will be based on money. The Broncos will have roughly $44 million in cap. Cutting Leary will save another $7 million. Cutting Case would save roughly $11 million as well. If the Broncos might decide to trade for Joe Flacco, or take a flier on Jameis Winston, that would eat about $18-$20 million of cap space.

    Transition Tag:
    Bradley Roby CB 27

Attempt to re-sign depending on cash:

    Shaquil Barrett OLB 26 $2,914,000
    Matt Paradis C 29 $2,914,000
    Jeff Heuerman TE 26
Pick one, or both depending on market demand:
    Billy Turner G 27
    Max Garcia G 27

    Walk with no negotiation:
    Shane Ray OLB 26 $2,279,724
    Zach Kerr DE 29 $1,625,000
    Gino Gradkowski C 30
    Jamar Taylor CB 28
    Tramaine Brock CB 31 $3,000,000
    Deiontrez Mount OLB 26

    RFAs:
Shelby Harris DE 28 DEN TBD $705,000 RFA -
Kevin Hogan QB 26 DEN TBD $630,000 RFA -
Casey Kreiter LS 29 DEN TBD $630,000 RFA -
Jordan Taylor WR 27 DEN TBD $630,000 RFA -

Jeff Holland LB 23 DEN TBD $480,000 ERFA

Darian Stewart and Brandon Marshall are trade candidates.

The way I see it Wolfe, Stewart, Marshall, Peko were inconsistent and under performed this year. I could see the Broncos cutting ties or seeking a cheaper salary with that bunch with the exception of Marshall whos been declining over the past several seasons. I can't see anybody willing to trade for Marshall nor willing to eat Stewarts current salary given his age and inconsistencies this season.

The only must-keeps are Sutton, Lindsey, Freeman, Bolles, Paradis, Chubb, Von, and CHJ. Everyone else is negotiable.

I’m not sure Paradis is keeper. He going to cost and McGovern has played well enough at C to make the change.

Barrett is looking at deal between $6M and $8M. Proven pass rusher get paid.

Yeah. I bet Shaq ends up in LA, playing for Wade.

    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

With Ray certainly out I think we'll probably make a deal to keep Shaq around

Well he did play better under Wade. That said, so did everyone else!

I’m persuaded his lack of development might be on him .

Agreed. How many games did he actually play in this year?
