I think that’s the end of their SB hopes, I would’ve kept him. This is a bottom line culture these days, it’s a poor football move.

Keep him and suspend him for 4 games, let the NFL sort it out next seasons. If he gets a huge ban then you dump him.

This kind of story doesn’t even move the needle anymore, nobody is surprised at all, this is the world we’ve created. This move feels pretentious as ****.

How did TMZ get this video but the NFL/Chiefs couldn’t? They saw this video.

Are you sure? Im not saying you are wrong but based on what they are saying today is they were going by what Kareem told them personally and not anything else. The reports were the woman didnt press charges so maybe thats all the authorities told the Chiefs and going by that and Hunt's word maybe they felt there was nothing more to it. Either way, much like the Rice incident, its a huge black mark on the league. Still, incredibly dumb by Hunt to even engage this woman in that manner. Hitting and kicking women is just cowardly shit in my opinion so i have no sympathy for the guy. Screw that noise.

I believe Hunt lied to them but I also believe the NFL/Chiefs saw this video and know he was lying.

That’s not being jaded anymore, I need a new screen name.

Btw, what I don’t believe is that there’s any such thing as a “black mark” anymore. This is a sign of the times.

Meh, you are correct that its the sign of the times but its also the #MeToo era and the backlash of doing nothing about this would just create more problems for the NFL as there is. Its about everyone covering their asses, especially if you are correct about the Chiefs and NFL already knowing and seeing the video.
