Glad you all are good man!

Awesome, saw the quake happened and saw pictures of the damage this morning and immediately came here to see if you were alright.

Glad it wasn't too bad in your neck of the woods.

We've had over 200 earthquakes in this area since yesterday morning's 7.0..... https://earthquake.alaska.edu/earthquakes You try to go to sleep, then the house will start shaking, so last night was a rough night sleep. You can hear them coming. I'm counting my blessings if that's the worse for us. Some geologist say this will go on for a couple weeks.

    Yikes man, no bueno.

We've had a lot of earthquakes here in Kansas lately too, but they are so minor you can't feel them. Hope it all dies down soon man.

Funny! As I sit here, I feel the constant vibration from the mini earthquakes occurring. They've been going off every few minutes.

    That’s crazy.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

I believe the houses here held up fairly well. The schools have gotten jacked up pretty good. My daughter is out of school until Dec 10, so crews can get in there and make the needed repairs. The off ramp by Mirror Lake caved in, and the bridges received some damaged. On ramp at Minnesota heading to airport got jacked up too. We've had over a 1000 mini earthquakes since the 7.0. The consistent shaking is driving my wife nuts. LoL.

BTW.....we're moving in the summer back to Wash state. My wife has had enough of Alaska, and the Air Force will move us.

That house is not habitable. It should be condemned.

    Haha, right?!

They’ll just use the failure in the foundation as an extra entrance.

    Glad to hear.
My buddy's parent live a couple blocks from you and his house is in really bad shape, entire chimney came down.

Been 3 years since we moved from there. Wife is happier for sure.

My daughter’s school is being closed due to structural issues.
