I think that is the key word here. Ive seen reports that if Foster is found to be guilty he may never play a down for the Skins.

I knew the chances of Smith being done was pretty reasonable but now it may take his life. I hope the guy pulls through this, sucks so bad for him

OMG that is terrible. So the compound fracture got infected and now he is in the icu? WOW! That is the worst. They may have to take his leg. I know once when I got my finger smashed in hockey and had a compound fracture and hematoba and other fancy terms that the docs were pissed to high heaven when I went on a cruise a few hours after having them xray me. I had to get all kinds of antibiotics and other medicines, I had to pick them up in the Bahamas and was told I could not use the pool or hot tub or ocean or anything until we got there. They told me I might have to lose my finger and possibly more if it gets infected and how fast the infection spreads. So if he is already infected in the bone, they may have to amputate. That would be very sad.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

ESPN actually took their link down and requested privacy for Smith but NFL.com has the report as well.

That's terrible. I hope he recovers and beats that infection.

Staph infections can kill people. I hope that isn't what he's dealing with - and I hope the young man can come back and play.

He was a tough dude. Suffered under Nolan and Singletary but blossomed with Harbaugh and Reid. Best wishes.

Actually he got several infections that required multiple extra surgeries, he’s just getting out of hospital.
