Maybe we just build a strong team and then give up the farm for either a FA QB (assuming one is there) or just give up the farm via picks like the Texans, Rams, Eagles, etc have done recently.

I think it will be difficult for a Broncos team to get a 1st or 2nd pick overall. We are either going to have to get lucky with drafting a QB at #10 or something or a 2nd or 3rd rounder, or getting a vet QB who we surround with a good team.

Keenum is your QBotF.

Btw, it’s impossible to build a strong team going 8-8 every year. I don’t care how many team captains you draft.

This is what the Texans, Eagles, and arguably Rams did. IDK. The Steelers did it with Ben. It's few and far between, but it has happened. I'm just trying to be optimistic.

I would probably feel better about Elway taking a QB in the top 10 than i do in the bottom of the round or later. But if there is not a top 10 worth taking than go Oline which is also a weak spot for John in later rounds.

Gutsy win - the broncos came to play. Loved seeing sanders and Sutton dancing in sync after Keenum stopped the clock before the kick. This makes at least next weeks game more exciting! 1-0

I'm just glad we didn't take the guard last draft. After QB you can go a lot of different routes.

Big Ben was the 10th pick in the draft.

This is true - they didn't trade up for him. But they had the great team and then they got the QB. That was what I wanted to hone in on.

Keenum is your QB, 8-8 is your record.
