I'm sad and lonely. Denver is poopy. I can only...exercise...cough...so many times a day.

Why would they start Hogan? Keenum is going to lose all the remaining games. Who knows what Hogan would do? Probably nothing good, but why risk it? They're back on pace to 6-10 and a top 10 draft pick again.

What good would come if they win another game at this point? So, they can be 7-9 instead of 6-10? VJ gets fired either way now. Losing these last 2 games has undone all the work he'd done in establishing himself for another year. Maybe if he wins out and goes 8-8, he might keep his job, but he'd have to win out.

And it doesn't look like this team will be able to beat the Chargers the last game of the season. So, it's only a question of getting beat by the Raiders and then VJ's departure will be certain.

And, at this point, is there any doubt they have to fire the coaching staff? Did you see VJ yelling at Joe Woods this game? There's dysfunction in the staff and you saw Elway's reaction up in the booth looking at a replay. You could read his lips. He was saying "this is bull-shit" pointing at the screen of his computer. Whatever he was looking at wasn't making him happy at all. He looked seriously pissed off.

And I turned to my friend and said: "I wonder if Elway is thinking I should have fired that ******* Vance Joseph last year!" right now?
