One scenario I see is we start CK but we draft a talented QB. I could live with it. Unless the youngster is needing Paxton Lynch amounts of time to develop.

Another scenario is that our backup is either an untalented youngster, or another journeymen QB.

Another scenario is that the team starts CK after literally pouring everything into fixing the other holes in the team. That scenario likely has us signing an experienced HC who was let go recently. I don't think Tomlin will be fired, but someone along those lines.

CK is the least of our concerns. The least.

My problem with keeping Keenum is when you get a QB who comes off a great year you expect him to keep that level of play or to improve upon it. We just are not seeing that here with or without VJ. In the end on the field Keenum needs to make the plays.

Meaning mainly the path to replacing him isn’t a quick change. Keep him another year and fix the line so a rookie we draft won’t get killed.

Sometimes I think you try to keep me grounded out of love.

What type of love is greater than a brother giving another brother a free prenup? By protecting your asset, I'm protecting your life's work.

Keenum might be the Broncos QB until this regime goes down in flames, this is what they’re looking for.

Case Yates, that’s what they’re looking for.

Nomad is almost celebrating having an awful QB.

I'd say it's almost a lock given the circumstances. Flacco is Plan A? We just blew our wad on a FA QB.

Yep, VJ is and will be Number 1 concern until he is gone, Yesterday was such a pathetic coaching job. I think VJ, Woods, and Musgrave just need to go. We need a fresh coaching staff starting with a HC that has a innovative offensive mind. Personally I think you keep Keenum, Draft a QB in rd 1 or 2 (Lock and Thorson I am fond of), and bring in or keep a guy like Hogan with some experience as a backup, and rebuild our other holes like another CB, and the OL
