Default Rank your top 5 Vampire movies of all time

So I finally watched Bram Stokers Dracula after all of these years, loved it!

Here is my top 5 for all time vampire movies:

    5. 30 Days of Night

    4. The Underworld series

    3. Bram Stokers Dracula

    2. The Lost Boys

    1. Interview with the Vampire

Honorable mentions: From Dusk till Dawn, Fright Night (the original), Blade series

IMO there is a big lack of vampire/werewolf type of movies. My favorites are usually the ones in the purest form. No need to add in all kinds of crazy elements and morph a vampire into something else. There is a rumor that they are making a new Interview with the Vampire. There are 12 total original books in the series.

What is your guys/gals top 5?

Salem's Lot. For some reason, that movie is etched into my head watching it as a kid. It's cheesy to watch it nowadays, but back then, it was a little scary.

    'Twilght' is gay, abe.

I guess cape wearing funny accent Vampires never scared me. Werewolves are a little more scary. Zombies up the game quite a bit. The scariest movies are the realistic ones with psychotic killers.

I can see how glittery vampires can scare you and why you chose Twilight.

My wife and daughter love Twilight. I just gouged my eyes out when I watched it. I was stuck at the movie theater.

    1. Blade
    2. Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992j
    3. John Carpenter’s Vampires (I’m pretty sure that’s the 1998 one North listed)
    4. From Dusk Till Dawn (Movie not series)
    5. Blade III
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

I’d like to see a modern day version of Salems Lot.

Yes, a remake of that is in order. I was a big fan of the Fright Night remake although it gets a lot of flack.
