DenBronx nailed it in the OP. Underworld series is good stuff. Never seen Salem's Lot. They don't have it on Netflix or at the library.

Meh, i still think Salem's Lot is good today. It still has that cold eeriness about it that i love.

Universal Monsters' Dracula. I enjoyed all Universal Monsters movies. Classic!

Universal Monsters got the best looking of Frankenstein in my opinion.

Don’t get me wrong it is still good & creepy, but some folks have a hard time with the quality movies were back then compared to today. They over analyze

    1. Blade trilogy
    2. Lost boys
    3. Let the right one in (let me in remake was excellent too.)
    4. Dusk til Dawn
    5. (Wincing for the inevitable beatdown). Twilight series. I had a tween daughter when it came out, thought I would hate them, but I shit you not if you give them a chance they’re pretty damn good.

Yea, its kind of funny how many times Chloe has been involved with horror remakes (Let Me In, The Amityville Horror, Suspiria, The Eye, Carrie) but good for her.

Daybreakers wasnt bad but Dracula Reborn i didnt like. A lot had to do with Luke Evans who im not that crazy about as an actor. I did like his role in a horror movie called "No One Lives".

Yeah, I'm totally down for watching old flicks. In many ways they exceed today's films unless the execution of effects is too distracting. Today's producers care too much about the visual reality, the imagination is the better canvas.
