Everyone knows the physical talent is there.

He's a film junkie. He can run the floor and be a 'modern big'.

There were 'motor concerns' with him but I chalk that up to him being a talented big in college. He's fast enough to deal with all these forwards who are playing "positionless," basketball. He needs to gain physical strength. If he can his quickness allows him to be a dominant defensive force. Might not get the blocked shots that Dwight Howard got, but defense is more than just stat categories.

He would have been eaten alive in the 90's. But he's built for today's game. I don't see a future first ballot HoFer, but I see All-Star games and DPOTY. He got killed for not being able to run shooters off their spots but eh...that strikes me as a go as you learn type of thing.

And let's be honest he's displayed shooting talent so if that gets ratcheted up enough he then walks into the vaunted "this guy can be the second best player on your championship team," status.

I liked the pick - he was polished enough to not just be one of those dreadful project players.

I was scared you were going to draw comparisons to Shawn Bradley.

What do you think of the Van Gundy's?

Pompous self promoters. Mouthpieces for all the coaches in the league. Total bores.

Pompous self-promotion, mouthpieces for people similarly situated to themselves...on television constantly.

Kind of like NBA Coach Kardashians.

I remember Shaq going off on one of them and it was a brutal roasting. Shaq's kind of mean.

I think you have to be that way - NBA players have all the powers and a star dominates a roster with 11 guys on it. They don't have to eat shit.

How do you feel about Nikola Vucevic?

He's the type of player Brad Stevens would send to the all-star game a few times.

I just watched Westrbook throw up two bricks. 5-18 shooting but the announcers are sure to talk about his great rebounding...

Then they talk about how players want to play with him...

Imagine a world where Terrell Owens was beloved. This is that.

    Breaks another shot.

Celtics scoop a rebound with a chance to take a lead.

I know he's a great player. He's clearly a first ballot Hall of Famer...but he will always be the worst 'elite' player I've ever seen. Unless Ben Wallace was elite.

Four straight shots missed by RWB. Second straight three pointer.

There's no one else to help the team?

Passes to George, who bricks it. Great rebound by RWB. Almost turns it over. Dude is a whirling dervish.
